TOWNSHIP
ELMINA EAST
Elmina East, a 1,000-acre development within the 5,000-acre City of Elmina, is designed to enhance quality of life through 300 acres of parks, gardens, and wellness-focused spaces guided by eight key elements of wellbeing.
Led from site analysis to implementation, the landscape masterplan integrates environmental sensitivity, functionality, and long-term community vision, and has earned three design excellence awards while still ongoing.
PARK
ORCHID GARDEN
BOTANICAL PARK KUALA LUMPUR
This project involved the revitalization of an existing garden through a comprehensive redesign and rebranding initiative, with MDLA leading the landscape design. A key feature of the proposal is the integration of a rainwater harvesting system to support sustainable irrigation across the park.
The project has received two awards in recognition of its design and sustainability.

PARK
ELMINA WILDLIFE PARK
Elmina Wildlife Park is a multi-functional landscape that harmonises ecology, recreation, and community use. Water systems and layered planting establish diverse habitats and a resilient ecological framework.
Guided by inclusive and sustainable design principles, the park delivers an engaging public realm—winning a design award.
PLACEMAKING
DATARAN WARISAN
The Dataran Warisan project transforms a previously underutilised site into a meaningful civic space for Kuala Kubu. Inspired by Colonial English architecture, the pavilion stage reinforces the town’s historical identity.
Through a placemaking approach, MDLA created an active public realm with a stage, kiosks, and public amenities, unified by the use of exposed red brick for a timeless, context-driven design.

LAMAN MBPJ
Laman MBPJ is envisioned as a flexible community hub accommodating iftar gatherings, Sukan Rakyat, and live football screenings.
Through a placemaking strategy, the design transforms a passive site into a vibrant, multi-functional urban space—winning a design award
